Our COMPRESSION SEAL EXPANSION JOINT contains steel armoured nosing at both edges fixed to the concrete deck on each side of a gap. A pre-shaped rubber material inside the gap is compressed and secured with a unique adhesive.

This seal can handle horizontal movement up to 40mm and vertical movement of 3mm.

It's recommended for use in bridges with spans that are either supported on both ends or continuously endorsed, with a moderate curve and not too much skew. It's best when the maximum horizontal movement doesn't exceed 40mm.
